Rayman Raving Rabbids Game Guide

Minigames. Lots of them. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| # Game Description # |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Rayman: Raving Rabbids is minigame collection in the vein of such prior titles as the Mario Party series or the terrible Fusion Frenzy. But it does not suck, unlike that latter title. While most games can only be played in tandem, many options are available for simultaneous versus, score based co-op play and time attacks after being unlocked allowing for a great deal of replay in many cases. Lacking a board ala Mario Party, you, as the indomitable Rayman are captured by a strange group of subterranian rabbits of questionable ethics and intelligence and are forced to participate in a series of outlandish minigames as you attempt your ridiculous yet hard earned escape. Offering over 70 minigames and a hearty helping of unlockables, the ADHD kids and people with friends will find themselves coming back to Rayman almost as often as Wii Sports for an hour or two of frantic and arm jarring fun. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |~~~~~~~~~~| -# Gameplay #- |~~~~~~~~~~| A quick mention of the Wii Controller, methods of use within the game and a quick warning to those of you putting hours upon end into this chaotic title. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| # 2.1 Controls # |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| It is finally here. The Nintendo Wii in all of it's shining white, glowing blue wonder. Mii's dance around in the plaza and await the insertion of this new title with sleepy, sneezing wonder, flailing their limbs wildly when you grab them to give them a talking to. It is not their place to tell you what to be playing, afterall, you need to put them in their place. Rayman: Raving Rabbids require the use of both Wii Remote and Nunchuck extension. Control usage varies wildly from game to game but very few use more than one or two buttons. While this may make it seem simple, your ambidexterity will be put to the test as you attempt to 'rub your stomach and pat your head', as it were, in some cases. On your primary hand we have the Wii Remote, or the Wiimote as many media outlets have lovingly dubbed it, this consists of the following, from pointer end to Nunchuck attatchment. Power Button - You shouldn't be using this button at all in Rayman. Ever. Unless you're turning the system off like a wuss, or an intelligent individual to take a break. Control Pad - Rarely, if ever needed for this title. It shares functionality with the Nunchuck's joystick for navigating Rayman between challanges and the pause menu mid-game. A Button - Your do-all button, used to make menu selections and activate most actions in the minigames. B Button - Oooh, tricky, it's underneath your Remote. Those silly people at Nintendo almost fooled you, didn't they? Good thing you were paying attention. This button is used as an alternate for the A button in a few mini games, to shoot in the rail sequences and as a cancel button in some menus. Minus "-" Button - This button usually functions as 'back' or 'select' on your traditional controller, cancelling menu selections and backing up by one in others. Plus "+" Button - Essentially, this is 'start'. This button is used for pausing midgame and starting minis without having to point and press A on the start selection. Home Button - Brings up the home menu which includes options for rearranging your controller's player order, turning up and down the Remote's speaker volume, returning to the Wii menu and more. Also displays your battery status and will pause any game in its tracks. One "1" Button - This button is only used in a few menus to display more information, the minigame explination menu to be exact. It brings up scores before selecting a minigame in score mode, tabs through the rules after having selected a minigame and functions as the "No" button when deciding whether to quit a game. Two "2" Button - Even more rarely used than 1, it brings up the score menu like 1 but only after entering a minigame. I don't believe I've seen any other uses really. Motion & Pointing - Is this not why you purchased the Wii? Some minigames merely use motion, no special positioning needed, to be controlled, specific motions required lined out on a per game basis. Some also require that you point, in this case you must have an unobstructed view between the Remote and your Sensor Bar and in these cases a crosshair or other indicator will show up on screen. Remember, it's the tilt and angle of your controller that matters in these latter cases, not where you are aiming at you screen. On to the Nunchuck, a much simpler but no less important tool in many games. C button - This is pretty well never used. I tell a lie, it is never used, at least in any of the minigames. Z Button - Just under the C button in a more comfortable to regularly use position lies this baby. Very few games make any use of this, but even if they do not, you can rest assured this button will still be here. Analog Control Stick - Essentially the same as that on the gamecube with its eight point frame and smooth motion, you will be using this to control Rayman's movement between games in the story mode as well as in some minigames and navigating some menus, steering warthogs and an accelerator in some games. I'm not kidding. Motion - Some minigames are going to require you move this sucker around in similar ways to the Remote's usage, though pointing is reserved soley for the Remote. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| # 2.2 A Word of Caution # |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| This is lined out in the safety manual you did not read and deserves another mention. This is not like your average game, or game system for that matter, where you simply sit there like a zombie with no motion. Zombies don't recieve repetative motion injuries but you can. It is highly advised that you take a break for ten or fifteen minutes out of every hour of play which is easily accounted for during tandem multiplayer, but not in single. If your arms feel tired, your wrists hurt or you just think you should stop for a bit, don't worry, we won't tell or call you a wuss or anything. Wuss. But seriously, your health takes precident over your gaming and there is no reason to push it. You arms are going to be a little strained in this game from time to time no matter how good of shape you are in, and the console is not going anywhere. It likes your shelf/floor/entertainment center/desk/whatever. Also worth mentioning is that you SHOULD use the included wrist strap as lined out on all of those warning screens. Gameplay can get a bit wild and you don't want your friend to walk in, startle you and receive a Wiimote to the teeth, do you? Do not expect the strap to withstand a full force swing without holding the Remote, but use your better judgement. It's there for those of you who read and understood "Swing Gently" in your Wii Sports manual. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| -# 3. Minigames #- |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| And the bulk of this guide begins. Here all minigames will be lined out with a description, control guide, and some suggestions for better results. They will be put together in order as seen in the score mode menus by reading order outside of multlipart minigames where they will be grouped together in order. All minigames will incude their name, requirements for 1000pts, a description on all but the Bunny Hunts and Music games, a Relative Difficulty and advice and/or information about them I found helpful or interesting. Relative Difficulty here is a comparative difficulty against other minigames in the same category for the 1000pt score unless otherwise noted. Let's get this started, shall we? |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| # 3.1 Bunny Hunt # |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| The rail shooters, good fun, good fun, shooting plungers at rabits, better fun. These all share the same control mechanics as follows. -Aim by Pointing with the remote. -Fire by pulling the B trigger. -Flick the Nunchuck quickly to reload, a vertical shake of at least 3-4 inches of movement seems to register best. -At close range when your crosshairs tighten, a bunny is within grab range. Press the Z button to throw out a grappling hand of sorts and snag them. Now they are your shield and can be fired by pressing B or Z as a projectile that easily scores you a Multiple bonus. There are several powers up to keep an eye out for. They are in boxes with a brightly colored label, some of which are hidden inside the environment or require that you defeat a certain group of enemies before they show up. Rapid Fire - Shooting this bonus box awards you with several seconds of rapid fire simply by holding the B button. You never need to reload while active. Shotgun - Perhaps Burst is a better name for this. All five plungers are loaded into your muzzle at once and fire in a strict formation. You must reload after every shot. Broken - Not really a powerup but it affects you all the same. This item breaks your gun for a short time causing you to barely fire to spitting distance. Your shots have the same power but will have to be severely arced to hit anything, aiming well higher than normal. It has a very short duration. Health - Loverly hearts, an item that fills your health back to full. you will rarely actually need this item but it stands to mention. Bonus Points - Bonus points. Duh. +1000 from what I've seen. Sound - Occasionally in the stages you will see a radio or an instrument or other sound maker ranging from a boombox to a bell to a PA speaker. Shooting these will start music playing that incapacitates all bunnies while they attempt to resist the urge to strut their funky stuff. Worth mentioning is that higher scores can be acquired through intelligent use of multi-kill causing enviormental objects, headshotting the enemies that require more than one shot to drop, and having high accuracy. High accuracy is an important one as each clip can grant you one Good, one Great and one Perfect bonus as you manage 3, 4 and 5 kills per clip respectively. Your Grappling Hand also holds high functionality. A well timed shot can save you a plunger in blocking enemy fire and snagging a shield against that same fire. Or simply to throw an enemy into a group of others for Multi bonuses. Hitting enemies at a great distance can net a Bullseye bonus. Score mode is available for a level as soon as you've completed it in Story. Time mode is available once you've acquired a high score on ALL of the score mode bunny hunts. Survival mode is available once you've acquired a high score on ALL of the time mode bunny hunts. Survival mode's special condition is that you have only ONE hitpoint for the duration of each stage. Good luck. On to the stages. -| Bunnies Never Struck Gold |- Western Theme Score Mode 1000pts - Score 28,000 points in one run Time Mode 1000pts - Complete in 03'55"00 or less Survival Mode 1000pts - Score 22,000 points in one run Relative Difficulty - Low Nothing special here, just a quick romp through the desert. Expect some difficulty acquiring the full 1000 points without near perfect accuracy. Same for your speed run. --- -| Bunnies have a Soft Spot for Plungers |- Western Theme Score Mode 1000pts - Score 30,000 points in one run Time Mode 1000pts - Complete in 02'30"00 or less Survival Mode 1000pts - Score 24,000 points in one run Relative Difficulty - Low Once again, nothing real special. The Score requirement won't be especially hard, nor Time, accuracy and and multiples for the first, fire like mad for the second. --- -| Bunnies Love Digging Tunnels |- Mining Theme Score Mode 1000pts - Score 27,000 points in one run Time Mode 1000pts - Complete in 04'45"00 or less Survival Mode 1000pts - Score 12,000 points in one run Relative Difficulty - Low A little change of pace compared to the previous set, but nothing too difficult. The score mode requirements are a bit more difficult than the last two, nothing you can't handle I am sure. The spy bunnies and pogo stick jerks are going to be what keeps you from your time score. --- -| Bunnies Helped Tame the Wild West |- Western Theme Score Mode 1000pts - Score 34,000 points in one run Time Mode 1000pts - Complete in 04'15"00 or less Survival Mode 1000pts - Score 28,000 points in one run Relative Difficulty - Medium-low Woo, a miniboss AND a boss. Giant robots both, the former being somewhat less giant. Neither of which should give you too much trouble considering the same Shoot-The-Rocket-So-It-Goes-Back-And-Splodes-In-Their-Face method. The score mode requirement should be a breeze, however, if you really want to make it easy you can go through the level as you normally would, doing your best, just make sure to have a full health bar as you reach the boss's feet. From here just shoot the constant wave of bunnies with as high of accuracy as you can and eat rockets until you have two or three hits left in you, then go ahead and fight the boss off normally. The extra group of bunnies this lets you net should easily push you well over the required score. But really, just playing it through normally should be easy enough. In time mode you're going to be going crazy with the pauses after a few of the encounters, but rest assured, the Time score required is very easy. --- -| Bunnies Aren't Scared of the Dark |- Sci-fi Theme Score Mode 1000pts - Score 308 points in one run?! This has to be a typo. 27800 was enough to give me 1000 with little effort, might just be an overlooked error. Time Mode 1000pts - Complete in 05'12"00 or less Survival Mode 1000pts - Score 22,000 points in one run Relative Difficulty - Medium Keep an eye out for red or green buttons in a few places, these will either open up the way forward or give you access to some items. The boss here has the same methods of attack and defeat as any other but he's a bit tricker, firing two missiles simultaneously from close range. Time Mode will off a bit of a challenge but keep in mind that accuracy means nothing there. Also remember that after the bathroom portion there's a button you MUST hit to advance, a red, glowing one with a four fingered hand. Shoot it as soon as possible. --- -| Bunnies Think They're in a Movie |- Western/Stage Theme Score Mode 1000pts - Score 28,000 points in one run Time Mode 1000pts - Complete in 02'35"00 or less Survival Mode 1000pts - Score 22,000 points in one run Relative Difficulty - Medium-high I give this a medium high difficulty mainly for the score. It won't be an easy one to acquire for the most part. Lots of quick moving enemies, tons of objects obstructing your shots and just generally a bad setup for calm, accurate fire. Also worth mentioning is that there are more speakers sitting around that would make you THINK you can get the bunnies dancing, but no, most are simply background items, except the Piano. Time mode is going to require some quick reflexes, but once again, nothing impossible. Remember that you can completely ignore the rabbits zooming past carrying trees and brush. --- -| Bunnies Don't Rest in Peace |- Horror Theme Score Mode 1000pts - Score 33,000 points in one run Time Mode 1000pts - Complete in 04'55"00 or less Survival Mode 1000pts - Score 24,000 points in one run Relative Difficulty - Medium This level is going to require a lot of pinpoint shooting to get bullseye and accuracy bonuses to clear the score requirement. Time Mode is going to require a lot of careful bullseyes and inventive use of the Z button for multikills. One could easily be stuck here awhile. --- -| Bunnies Sometimes Recycle the Scenery from other Games |- Horror Theme Score Mode 1000pts - Score 38,000 points in one run Time Mode 1000pts - Complete in 05'40"00 or less Survival Mode 1000pts - Score 32,000 points in one run Relative Difficulty - Medium-high Warthog racers will probbaly recognize the location this level takes place in. Three of previously seen minibosses at once makes for an interesting final encounter and fences and other various enviornmental pieces will be what keeps you from reaching the score requirement here. Just be patient and shoot when you KNOW they're in front of the objects. Those pogo stick and spy fellows are back to get you pulling your hair as you attempt the speed run. But fear not, the requirement is quite lax as long as you're careful with them. --- -| Bunnies Don't Like Being Disturbed on Holiday |- Tropical/Beach Theme Score Mode 1000pts - Score 28,000 points in one run Time Mode 1000pts - Complete in 03'30"00 or less Survival Mode 1000pts - Score 22,000 points in one run Relative Difficulty - Low Nothing particularly special here, lots of bunnies, shoot at them, etc. Though your boss is a submarine instead of a robot. The sheer quantity of enemies is what will keep your from 1000 time pts. The various beach balls in the level can be quite helpful in blowing up groups of enemies at once. --- -| Bunnies Don't Like Being Disturbed at Night |- Tropical/Beach Theme Score Mode 1000pts - Score 36,000 points in one run Time Mode 1000pts - Complete in 06'35"00 or less Survival Mode 1000pts - Score 30,000 points in one run Relative Difficulty - High This level is very nearly 'intense', unlike the rest of these shooters. It is also considerably longer. The enemies are faster and more aggressive meaning that you spend more time shooting down enemy fire and breaking your perfect combo bonuses. Expect several attempts going for your speed run, there sheer number of enemies, especially those guys on pogosticks, will have you coming up 5 or 10 seconds too slow time and time again. |~~~~~~~~~~~~| # 3.2 Sports # |~~~~~~~~~~~~| The Sports category includes four ADDITIONAL categories within, all grouped by the gameplay style that they hold as follows: Workout - Games requiring large amounts of physical effort including but not limited to extended periods of shaking both controllers as fast as one can. Precision - Games requiring careful aim and/or good memory. Get Going! - Races primarily. Skill - Similar to Precision but these games tend to require more finesse and a steady hand than anything else. So, starting with Workout, here we go. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| # 3.2.1 Workout # |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Your arms will get tired. I guarantee it. Some of these are like Olympic Qanking Training by all basic standards. If I may, I'd like to recommend that if you have any wrist or arm pains, or they simply feel tired, that you go right ahead and take a few minutes off. I am sure some of you would think "oh wow, Xylymphydyte's a real wuss, eh?", but I'd just like to err on the safer side of caution. This kind of activity hasn't been seen in many games outside of full sized DDR and, admittedly, many gamers just aren't up for this for six hours or more straight. -| Bunnies are Addicted to Carrot Juice |- 1000pts requirement - Last 02'15"00 or longer In this game you are apparently working a carrot juice stand. Bunnies in diver helmets come out of the water and advance inexorably with intent to yell in your face. I'm not quite sure why. Your job is to squirt carrot juice at their masks, thereby filling them and somehow quenching their thirst or desire to yell or whatever. -Controls- Nunchuck - Shake this vertically quickly to keep the pressure on your carrot juice high. Remote - Aim with this baby. Go for the masks, not simply the rabbits. Relative Difficulty - High I cannot help but think of internet porn users while playing this game, the motions you have to take are just awful. The rabbits will continually come in larger numbers until you are finally overtaken. My only bits of advice are that 1. the Nunchuck doesn't HAVE to be moving up and down, left and right does not work but if you tilt it on its side so that in relation to the natural way of holding it side to side physical movement is up and down, it will work. It may be wise to play this in tandem with another person so that one pumps and the other aims. --- -| Bunnies Don't Give Gifts |- 1000pts requirement - Have 00'22"00 remaining on completion A friendly bunny has handed you a gift you are to deliver. He then lights the fuse. An object with a lit fuse in your hands is never a good thing so cheeze it. Better him than you, eh? -Controls- Remote & Nunchuck - Pump both of these alternatingly up and down as fast as you can as if running. Relative Difficulty - Low Feels a bit like how Mario must experience everything, honestly. If you can keep up a full power run-flail you can complete this game in less than 8 seconds with little trouble. Just make sure you've got a good grip and you don't take out a window with a slipping controller. --- -| Bunnies Like Surprises |- 1000pts requirement - Score 75,000 points A rabbit has gotten himself trapped on a high plateau with a plunger stuck to his face. Frankly, I don't want to hear the back story but lets get down to the goods. Guide the blinded fellow into as many painful objects as you can before the comically unlikely weight lands atop the entire platform. -Controls- Remote - Shake to ring the bell guiding the rabbit right Nunchuck - Shake to honk the horn guiding the rabbit left Relative Difficulty - Medium-High As you score your first set of points by having the rabbit step upon a rake you'll wonder "How in the hell do I get 75,000 points?!" I did too. Upon about a minute's passing, a gigantic weight lands on the entire arena scoring you an instant 50,000 points. But here's the further issue, you have to get half of that for the 1000pts. Each object has a varying point value, some higher than others. Steel traps net you the most at 500 and rakes the least at 20. There's only maybe 30 or 40 things to subject the poor bunny to. Here's the trick: Having the bunny run into more than one object of the same kind in a row incurs an increasing multiplier. 2x for the second, 4x for the third, 8x for the fourth, etc. Doesn't seem so bad now does it? It will still be difficult and I recommend going for the cacti with their high numbers and 50 pts a pop, running into 9 of them will grant you 25,550 and the 1000pts goal. --- -| Bunnies Can't Fly |- 1000pts requirement - score 170.000m Super Bunny needs a hand. Pump the handle on that handcar as fast as you can to give him the momentum he needs to increase his flight record and his doctor bill. -Controls- Remote & Nunchuck - Pump these up and down alternatingly as fast as possible. This control method is a common staple so you'd best get used to it. Relative Difficulty - Low-Medium What can I say? Faster, FASTER, FASTER!! --- -| Bunnies Can't Fly Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - Score 270.00m Super Bunny's back and has a new gimmick to beat his best flight distance. Explosives strapped to him. Genius. No. Really. -Controls- Remote & Nunchuck - Pump these up and down alternatingly as fast as possible B Button - Detonate the explosive Relative Difficulty - Medium The same drill as before to start with, however this time you have a little booster to give you a hand. You can generally get the best results if you detonate it just as he reaches the apex of his flight, or just after. --- -| Bunnies Have Natural Rhythm - 1000pts requirement - Complete within 00'21"00 Goodness, the bunnies of varying beliefs are cavorting! We can't have that! Lull them with their crazy hippy music before knocking them back to wherever they came from! -Controls- Control Stick - Moves Rayman Remote - Flick this to activate radios and attack lulled bunnies Relative Difficulty - Medium-High A lot of managing 1000pts is going to rely entirely on the luck of the draw, or more specifically, the position of the bunnies. They will hit you if they are not currently dancing to their respective music, decided by the color of the radio versus the color of the bunny. They obviously like music that comes from the stereo that most reminds them of themselves. Narcissists. Anyway, at best you can just run this one repeatedly until you manage to get the bunnies well grouped. --- -| Bunnies Have Natural Rhythm Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - Complete within 00'22"00 Those hippy bunnies are off socializing on your beach again! Blast! Plus they've figured out your little trick to distracting them for an opening and have hired a gigantic body guard. Oh well, you're quicker than him. -Controls- Control Stick - Moves Rayman Remote - Flick this to activate radios and attack lulled bunnies Relative Difficulty - Medium-High This is esentially the same thing over again with a burly fellow running interference. He will bowl you over stunning you as he runs for the radio you currently have activated. He's mostly harmless if you keep an eye on him but that isn't always easy with no direct camera control. You'll be doing more of the same to acquire the 1000pts as well, replaying over and over hoping for the rabbits to group well. --- -| Bunnies are Bad at Peek-A-Boo |- 1000pts requirement - Complete within 00'39"50 -Controls- Remote & Nunchuck - Shake these quickly alternatingly to tip toe forward Remote - When the guard turns to look at you, point at the screen and keep the pointer within the blue circle. Relative Difficulty - Medium-High First off, this is Red-Light Green-Light, obviously, secondly, it's going to be difficult getting up there that quickly, highly dependant on how often he turns and how long he looks at you. Also, make sure you're far enough back that the pointer doesn't cut out as you're aiming at that blue circle, if it does, you are toast. -| Bunnies Don't Milk Cows |- 1000pts requirement - Complete within 00'07"19 -Controls- Remote & Nunchuck - Shake these quickly alternatingly to milk Relative Difficulty - Low Well, that's pretty gross really. Shake away like you've been doing in the past several, several minigames. No real tactic. Maybe take a break? --- -| Bunnies Don't Milk Cows Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - 00'09"00 -Controls- Remote & Nunchuck - Shake sthese quickly alternatingly to milk A Button - Press while pointing at a full bucket to bring in an empty one Relative Difficulty - Low-Medium Same thing again, but now you have to move the bucket! Goodness, how will you cope?! But seriously, shake, then point and click, shake, point and click, shake. Easy enough. --- -| Bunnies Can't Play Soccer |- 1000pts requirement - Score 10,200 points FUTBAL! Score the fanciest goal you can manage, don't worry if your kick slips and you happen to hit that bunny, it comes with the territory, and besides, his family depends on the hazard pay. -Controls- Remote & Nunchuck - Start by shaking these alternatingly quickly to run A Button - Press this to kick at the end of your run Remote - Point to guide the 'ball' Relative Difficulty - Medium-High If you've already played this a few runs and thought "Okay, this must have a trick to it like the cactus thing" you'd be right. Wait out your kick until you're RIGHT on top of the target nearly, time it right for a 2x multiplier. Now aim for the very corner of the net, if you can HIT the corner of the net the ball bounces into the goal and you now have a 4x multiplier along with a high base score to be multiplied. --- -| Bunnies Can't Shear Sheep |- 1000pts requirement - Oddly enough, score 1000 points. I was under the belief that the bunnies were forcing you to do things they for their entertainment, this leads me to believe that all you ever had to do to escape was switch their computer's screensaver to the starfield. They'd be completely ecstatic seeing it. Seriously, shearing sheep is a boring thing to watch. -Controls- Remote - Aim at the sheep with this, avoid the bunnies Nunchuck - Shake this to shear away Relative Difficulty - Medium This one's similar to but not as demanding as the carrot juice stand. Much less shaking is required to maintain full clipping power compared to the juice pressure, but otherwise, it's essentially the same game. Each sheep completely sheared nets you a bonus 20 points, you gain a constant flow of points while shearing. Hitting the bunnies reduces your score significantly. Another bonus over the juice stand is that any form of shaking will power the shears. --- -| Bunnies are Oversensative |- 1000pts requirement - Reach 280.00m Look at that smug jerk. He's been getting in your way in a lot of other mini games hasn't he? Vengance is sweet. Wail on his noggin like there's no tomorrow and bask in the glory of the titantic lump you leave on it. Or shy away from the double entendre. -Controls- Remote - Aim your fury with this Nunchuck - Shake as fast as you can to pound out a death metal rhythm on the bunny's skull Relative Difficulty - Medium-High This game really isn't all that hard, the hard part is managing to keep your nunchuck pounding at the little jerk's head fast and long enough to hit the loft requirement for 1000pts. At least this one never really gets old. Maybe I just have a deep seated hatred for rabbits. -- -| Bunnies Rarely Leave their Burrows |- 1000pts requirement - Oddly enough, once again, score 1000 points Whack a Mole, but with a different name. Nuff'said. -Controls- Remote - Aim your shovel Nunchuck - Shake to swing your shovel Relative Difficulty - Low-Medium Quick reactions are all that's going to save you here, missing results in a 5 point detriment. --- -| Bunnies Rarely Leave their Burrows Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - Score 1000 points, again Whack a Mole, but now there are also pigs to avoid. Nothing that can really be described in an amusing way so you can just sod off if you want a joke. -Controls- Remote - Aim your shovel Nunchuck - Shake to swing your shovel Relative Difficulty - Medium-high Quick response time and the ability to tell pigs appart from rabbits are your saving graces for this round. Missing is still -5 points but a pig is a whopping 30 point subtraction. Also, you'll probably have a bit of a laugh but I actually had a hard time HITTING a pig to test this. They don't stay up for very long so unless you're playing on twitch reaction to 'hit the moving thing' you don't have much to fear from them. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| # 3.2.2 Precision # |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Alrighty, finally away from those evil Workout games. You spend 6 hours playing them to collect information and tell me how you feel, should have taken my own advice. ANYWAY, on with the show. Here you will be doing puzzle and accuracy inspired games ranging from Simon clones to mazes. A lot of the games in this category are personal favorites, however, many of these lack any trick to success, so get ready to be precise. -| Bunnies are Heartless with Pigs |- 1000pts requirement - Clear within 00'10"00 Let's be honest here folks, these bunnies are heartless with everything up to and including themselves. But this is especially nasty, that pig just wants his mother! Guide Rayman through the minefield listening to the pig in his hands squeels to let you know when its sensative nose has picked up danger. -Controls- Joystick - Move Rayman Remote - You'll feel silly but hold the speaker up to your ear, the audio is very quiet Relative Difficulty - Medium-high This only receives such a high difficulty score because the audio in the remote often DOES cut out leaving you completely blind to the dangers ahead. But considering it's working appropriately, you will hear the neutral grunt of your porcine pal when the path ahead is safe, and a distressed piggy peal when there is a flamethrower toating bunny hiding out ahead. When the speaker feels like working, the game is a breeze to play but is hard to move through quickly being that you travel so slowly. When it doesn't work, this game is literally impossible outside of incredible luck. This is one of those games you will be playing several times over until you happen across a lucky path for the 1000pts. --- -| Bunnies are Heartless with Pigs Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - Clear within 00'15"00 Not again. He's just a child! Let him be with his mother! And fix your bluetooth connection, something seems to be failing. Oh, and I'm going to stick that airhorn right up your--... Nevermind. -Controls- Joystick - Move Rayman Remote - You'll feel just as silly this time but go right ahead and hold the speaker up to your ear again Relative Difficulty - High Okay, so before you had to deal with the audio cutting out randomly due to some kind of bandwidth fault between the controller and the system or the like, NOW you have to deal with the audio cutting out in the same manner as well as it cutting out as a game mechanic as some ripe twit blows an air horn at random intervals. Luck will play a roll again. Sad really, as it is a great idea for Wii Remote usage. --- -| Bunnies are A-Mazing |- 1000pts requirement - Clear within 00'06"00 I'm not honestly sure why the little colorful bunny icon wants to go to the little rainboy circle, but by George I'll do it! -Controls- A Button - Grab your bunny icon Remote - Point to guide your icon through the track Relative Difficulty - High This is a rather fun little game in my book. Kind of a combination of Irritating Stick and, well, Irritating Stick, for those of you who remember this title. It's Opperation on crack. Practice and a steady hand are the key to success in this venture but it is somewhat stained by a wonky hit detection that makes you feel like the track is visually offset from its hit boxes. Also is the bizarre way the bunny icon pops away from your control upon touching one of the edges into the middle of the track there. Your immediate reaction is to return to the position you were at before moving on and this can result in some frustration. Muscle Memory is often nice for such things as typing but not a good thing here. Keep trying, you can get it. --- -| Bunnies Don't Sleep Well |- 1000pts requirement - Survive for at least 00'45"00 Bunny dreams suck. Seriously, this is a crappy dream. Where are the robots? Where are the women? Explosions? Maybe at least some good old fassioned reoccurring events from the previous day. No, just ghosts with disabilities and an angry little floating mariachi head. -Controls- A Button - Grab your bunny icon Remote - Point to guide your bunny icon safely away from the ghosts Relative Difficulty - Medium-High Don't touch the sides, don't touch the ghosts, avoid everything. You'll be needing some quick reactions to avoid those suckers once they get going. I cannot say that there are any particular tricks to this one, just practice and a bit of luck. --- -| Bunnies Can't Slide |- 1000pts requirement - Acrue a total of no more than 1.00m overall Bunny winter sports have crappy games as well, this is their equivallent to curling but without the funny outfits and no brush, and people actually want to play this sometimes. Try and land as close as possible to the center target in all three rounds. -Controls- Remote - Point in the direction you want to travel, the size and length of the arrow shown indicates your direction and the power, not where you will stop. Relative difficulty - High The AI opponents are idiot savants in this particular game, one moment taking incredible aim to not only knock you well away from your goal but also managing to simply run into walls for all three rounds. Your goal is to gain no more than a total of 1.00m from the center after all three rounds. That means an average of 0.33m per round from the center. You have to be DEADLY accurate. Prepare to do this for awhile. --- -| Bunnies Can't Slide Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - End the third round at 0.10m or less Nothing would make curling more fun to watch than some cows randomly placed on the field and pitfalls for the competitors to avoid. You cannot deny that you would actually look forward to seeing it then. Before you were going for the lowest combined score, now you just want to be the closest to the center when the third round ends. -Controls- Remote - Point in the direction you want to travel, the size and length of the arrow shown indicates your direction and the power, not where you will stop. Relative Difficulty - Very High Ouch, 0.10m or less. It's going to take some major practice and some major luck to land that, that will be literally covering the target. I have no advice at the moment, so good luck, you'll need it. -| Bunnies Have No Memory |- 1000pts requirement - Score 400 points or more Simon. What more can I say? Memorize the ever increasing sequence and input it exactly the same after being shown it. Every round adds one more to the sequence. -Controls- Remote - Point A Button - Activate the critter you are pointing at Relative Difficulty - Medium-high Well, you know what you're doing with this game by now, they've only been repackaging and reselling it since before you were born, more than likely. One point per correct selection so... you'll be doing a 28 point sequence on the round that you reach this value. --- -| Bunnies Have No Memory Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - Score 400 points or more It's Simon again, but now there are five different choices for the sequence. -Controls- Remote - Point A Button - Activate the critter you are pointing at Relative Difficulty - Medium-High 28 point sequence again. Have fun. I hate Simon. --- -| Bunnies Have a Great Ear for Music |- 1000pts requirement - Score 3,100 points These bunnies are most multi-talented, they've become bipedal, they've developed a complex, if unintillegient, society and now they're singing. What next, eh? Well, one of these bunnies isn't doing his part propperly, so track him down and give him a good slap, it'll jar him back into tune. -Controls- Remote - Point A Button - Zoom in on the selected bunny Nunchuck - Flick this to smack the selected bunny Relative Difficulty - Medium Honestly, this is one of my favorite minigames. For some reason those caroling kits never cease to bring a smile to my face, especially the out of tune ones. There isn't really a trick to this one other than being quick but I can give a bit of advice to help ease your search for the unlevel lagomorph. They will help you find the off key coney by pointing at him if he is adjacent to the one you are zoomed in on, further, you can sort of hear the off key one a bit clearer as you move your pointer around and come close to him. But for the easiest method that requires the least listening and the least thinking you can do this: They are arranged in three rows consisting of three, four and five from top to bottom. Any individual rabbit has a number up to five adjacent to him. Actually, only two have five adjacent to them and that is the center two on the middle row. Those two are your primary helpers. Zoom up on one of those two, there's a high probability that the caterwauling chordata will be next to him and he will point it out, if the first doesn't, try the second. If neither either are or point to the astringent animal then there are only two possibilities, the bottom left or right corner. If one of the center two is your raucous rabbit, give him his smack and swap to the other immediately as it will take a moment for him to recover and point if your next target is nearby. I can't see there being a faster or more efficient method as this. --- -| Bunnies Don't Use Toothpaste |- 1000pts requirement - Survive for 01'35"00 I suppose the downside to living underground for most of your life is that you could get worms in your decaying teeth. I highly doubt this will be a problem for the surface dwelling bunnies but rest assured that those afflicted will want to undergo this procedure. Lucky you, being the one performing it. Pull the worms from these tattered teeth for as long as you can. -Controls- Remote - Aim, move away from a snagged worm to pull it free A Button - Grab the worm you are aiming at Relative Difficulty - Medium-High This game is not too difficult all things considered, but it is easy to trip yourself up by not quite pulling a worm completely free before going for the next one. Each tooth can withstand one missed worm, the second breaks it and causes your failure. Your reflexes need to be quite polished if you intend to grab yourself those 1000pts. --- -| Bunnies Don't Use Toothpaste Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - Survive for 01'35"00 Rude bunnies, very rude. At least your last patient was nice enough to rinse before coming in, but this guy hasn't brushed for months. Get those worms and keep your lunch down. No easy task! -Controls- Remote - Aim, move away from a snagged worm to pull it free A Button - Grab the worm you are aiming at Relative Difficulty - Medium-High This is the exact same game as it's previous itteration but there's the added distraction of screen-distorting bad breath. Honestly, the game is basically the same and should mount about the same level of challenge unless you are easily distracted, in which case, the pulsing of the screen as the bunny inhales and exhales might just be enough to throw off your concentration. The same rules apply as before, each tooth can take one hit and the second hit causes failure. --- -| Bunnies are Ticklish |- 1000pts requirement - score 4,000 points I have nothing to say about this, how can I possible turn this into some half imagined side story or even begin to explain what is going on here. Poke his brain in the order displayed. -Controls- Remote - Aim A Button - Poke the selected section of brain Relative Difficulty - Medium-High At the beginning of the round they will display what each portion of the brain does when prodded, after that, you're expected to remember what does what as they throw up increasinly difficult combinations of actions for you to attempt. This is another personal favorite simply because it's so outlandish, though there is no trick once again, it's all skill baby! --- -| Bunnies Like to Stuff Themselves |- 1000pts requirement - score 900 points The chef is tired of serving you, time to make up for years of lost time by giving him all of the meals he's earned at once. I wonder how much he can take? Draw the outline displayed to prepare the desired meal, or in some cases, object. -Controls- Remote - Aim A Button - Draw Relative Difficulty - Medium Yet another personal favorite, mostly due to the noises the little feller makes. Keep in mind that the aim function of the Remote is based almost soley on angle and little with position. You CAN move the remote physically to draw, but it isn't like you could put it on your screen for easier tracing in much of any case. Steady your hand on something and move it as if it were a laser pointer, tracing along the object. You don't need to be perfect, but the closer you are the more points you will be getting. Screw it up too much for a five point loss. --- -| Bunnies Like to Stuff Themselves Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - score 700 points The chef has come back and demanded more food, this time with the twist of having to remember all of the recipes from memory, or some such. The pattern fades in and out of view. You make up a better story for it. -Controls- Remote - Aim A Button - Draw Relative Difficulty - Medium-High Surprisingly, the fading in and out of the pattern really makes this more difficult. There are also considerably more complicated patterns mixed in on this itteration. Once again, steady your hand and try to move reasonably fast while still staying as close to the original as you can at higher speeds. --- -| Bunnies Can't Herd |- 1000pts requirement - Score 4,000 points The animals are mixed up and you need to get them seperated back into their own groups. Herd away by drawing around animals of the same type to clear them away. -Controls- Remote - Aim A Button - Draw Relative Difficulty - Low This seems like it might offer a high challange at first but I have noticed you can get some titanic scores with some patience. Put simply, wait until it's filled the play field with various critters then carefully draw whatever bizarre shape it takes to select an ENTIRE species at a time. You will be seeing multipliers in the ranges of x100 or more with the larger groups and can hit the required score quite easily. Especially when it only spits out more of the critters currently existing on the field. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| # 3.2.3 Get Going! # |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Here we have a collection of races, more directly, four races, one time trial and a free fall game. I'm not much for racing but none of these are likely to pose a challenge to you if you are into racing. For the sake of simplicity, general discriptions withheld on most. -| Bunnies Only Fly Downwards |- 1000pts requirement - finish in less than 00'30"00 For an entertainer the bunnies don't seem to have much regard for your personal safety as they hurl you off of their flying saucer's diving board. You heard me right. Guide Rayman through all of the rings and pray he lands safely. -Controls- Remote - Control your decent's direction by titling it forward and back and twisting it to control turning Joystick - Press in any direction to accelerate Relative Difficulty - High Controlling Rayman can sometimes be somewhat twitchy, but considering that, practice will still be key in getting your cool k in this. To hit that 30 second mark you'll be holding the accelleration to maximum the entire time WHILE maintaining 100% accuracy on the rings and taking a very efficient angle between them. --- -| Bunnies Like a Good Cowboy Race |- 1000pts requirement - Finish in less than 00'43"00 -Controls- Joystick - Steering B Button - Run aka Throttle Remote - Give this a flick to slap your warthog and gain a temporary speed boost. Three per race. Relative Difficulty - Medium Personally, either I'm awful at racing or the control mechanics are just a bit odd in these mini's. Practice learning the track and when to use your burst is about all you can do. That and be aware of shortcuts. --- -| Bunnies Like a Good Race |- 1000pts requirement - Finish in less than 01'28"00 -Controls- Joystick - Steering B Button - Run aka Throttle Remote - Give this a flick to slap your warthog and gain a temporary speed boost. Three per race. Relative Difficulty - Medium-High There's some substantial shortcuts in this map but they REALLY took them in account when deciding the 1000pts score. Good luck. --- -| Race Good a Like Bunnies |- 1000pts requirement - Finish in less than 01'30"00 -Controls- Joystick - Steering B Button - Run aka Throttle Remote - Give this a flick to slap your warthog and gain a temporary speed boost. Three per race. Relative Difficulty - Medium-High This goes outside of my normal ordering because for one, the title is amusing and two, it isn't really a race, though it does kind of fall into a "Bunnies Like a Good Race Part 2" kinda category. This is the same map as the race with the reverse name, but, reversed. You're racing head on against the traffic, which is interesting. The same general tact applies. --- -| Bunnies Like a Good Race on the Beach |- 1000pts requirement - Finish in less than 00'55"00 -Controls- Joystick - Steering B Button - Run aka Throttle Remote - Give this a flick to slap your warthog and gain a temporary speed boost. Three per race. Relative Difficulty - Low-Medium The simplist of the races in many senses, it'll be easier than the cowboy race by a bit simply because there are easier to make turns. Practice and you can clear this quickly. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~| # 3.2.4 Skill # |~~~~~~~~~~~~~| A set of games fairly well named, though, personally, I feel like Skill and Precision should have their names swapped sometimes. Here you'll be hurling plungers like knives, tilting brains and jumping rope, to name a few. -| Bunnies are Slow to React, Part 1, 2 and 3 |- 1000pts requirement 1 - Complete in less than 00'20"00 1000pts requirement 2 - Complete in less than 00'23"29 1000pts requirement 3 - Complete in less than 00'25"00 I always wondered what went on in a rabbit's skull... It seemed silly to line these three out seperately when they are identical in all respects outside of the board. Their difficulty is very comparable and the same tricks apply to all three. -Controls- Remote - Tilt to tilt the board and roll the ball to the goal Relative Difficulty - Medium-High Difficulty here will vary a lot from individual to individual. They can be easy to clear but extremely difficult to master. Essentially you're playing the age old wooden puzzle Labrynth but with a brain and bones instead of wood and... wood. Those Dark connections can be broken through if you hit them with enough speed. Practice makes perfect! --- -| Bunnies are not Ostriches |- 1000pts requirement - Complete in less than 00'30"00 Very astute of them to point this fact out to us. Super Bunny hasn't figured it out yet though. Maneuver your flying saucer over one of the many planted rabbits and pull him out with your tow hook. But watch out for that brain damaged fellow, he thinks you're here to take him home. -Controls- Remote - Twist left and right to move your vehicle in the corresponding direction. A Button - Lower your grappling hook. Hitting it again mid drop retracts the hook before hitting bottom. Relative Difficulty - Medium-High This becomes a cinch once you get used to the floaty controls and swing of the hook. But that re-re rabbit continually gets in the way, if you snag him, fly off to the side and try and hurl him a bit aways to give you some more time without him. Worth noting is that if you're careful enough, skillful as it were, you can snake past him and grab an embedded rabbit when he is almost completely obscuring them. Practice, like in most games, is what you'll have to do to gain your 1000 bonus points. --- -| Bunnies Don't Understand Bowling |- 1000pts requirement - Score at least 470 points I don't think I understand bowling myself to be completely honest with you, but it can be a fun game, especially on a certain other Wii title we won't mention right now. Hurl that barrel down the lane and direct it as best you can into the bunnies. Remote - Flip it forward or swing it as if throwing a bowling ball to hurl the barrel, then, twist the remote to guide the barrel's path. Relative Difficulty - High This one is going to take several attempts to complete. It seems that you get only two throws no matter how well you do so to acquire the 1000pts you'll have to get two strikes. More playing is required to be sure but I'm quite certain of this after several attempts. Been able to miss one rabbit of the second set several times now, I hate him. --- -| Bunnies Have a Poor Grasp of Anatomy |- 1000pts requirement - Score at least 800 points Pin the tail on the donkey, but the donky is a rabbit and has a whole bunch of tails that are actually all of its defining features. Or something. Remote - Move and title the pieces into place A Button - Place the current piece Relative Difficulty - Medium-High You're going to have to have a most solid memory to manage this one. It's a very simple game with perhaps the most complicated scoring scheme of anything else in the game. At best, if you want a gimmick, have someone mark the location of the body base before the screen blacks out for you or something. Preferably with a water soluable marker, dry erase marker or perhaps with paper over the screen. Or maybe just have them hold their fingers at an identifying location. I assume no liabilities for any damages due to permanent marker or any other impliment, designed as a writing device or otherwise incurred upon the TV's of parties who read this guide or use any portion of its information through first, second or third party knowledge. All rights reserved. Offer limited to members of the planet Earth, Mars and Rhode Island.(C)(TM)Ltd.(R)B.S.C., S.S.C.. --- -| Bunnies Only Fly Downward |- 1000pts Requirement - Complete in less than 00'35"00 Yes, this is the same game as in the Get Going! section. Honestly, I don't understand why it is here. This or the other should be Part 2 and they should both be in the same section, but hey, whatever. -Controls- Remote - Tilt forward and backwards and twist left and right to control Rayman's decent. Joystick - Pressing this in any direction servers as an accelerator Relative Difficulty - High Same drill as before, this will take a ton of practice and will require you be accelerating at full speed for the entire run to successfully gain the 1000pts. Good luck on that. --- -| Bunnies Don't Like Being Shot At |- 1000pts requirement - Score at least 20,000 points Plungers are much safer than knives, but no less entertaining. Hurl your knives (read: plungers) at your hapless victim, hitting them for points. Go for the head! -Controls- Remote - Flick the remote toward the screen to initiate a throw, after which you have a short time to finalize your aim. A Button - Supposedly makes you throw more quickly, it seems to shorten the time between your flick and the plunger actually firing. Relative Difficulty - High This new control mechanic is wonky at best. I could see it being nice but it often appears to have a hard time deciding if you're throwing or aiming, and if you want to be CERTAIN you're throwing by exaggerating the motions, which does help guarantee that you do throw, you are usually not only giving up any accuracy but you are also spending way more time than you can afford to. You will have to be throwing full speed to hit 20,000 points. --- -| Bunnies Don't Know What to Do with Cows |- 1000pts requirement - throw at least 150.00m Well, you've got a sturdy chain, a cow, and a hammer throw styled arena. I think I know what you're thinking. -Controls- Remote - Whirl around in a generally circular motion, keeping it mostly pointed up to build speed. A/B Button - Once you've reached as high a speed as you can manage, press this with the cow pointing out toward the field ala Bowser in Mario 64. If you haven't played Mario 64 and don't know what I'm talking about, go snag it off the VC. Now. Relative Difficulty - Medium-High This is a wonderful little game. The noises a cow being swung around like that are second to none, however, gaining higher scores can be frustrating. Swinging the remote then hitting a button on it without losing speed and/or mistiming it is quite difficult. It would be nice had the button been on the nunchuck but then it likely would have been too easy. You get a MUCH greater distance if you release the cow so that it flies very straight down the center of the field. --- -| Bunnies Don't Like Bats |- 1000pts requirement - Complete with 00'55"00 remaining Pig farmers ride bats, right? Where are you from? Collect those piggies and bring them back to the pen before Farmer Dracula notices they're out. -Controls- Remote - Twist and tilt this to steer the bat B Button - Accelerator A Button - Grab and drop pigs Nunchuck - Flick this to use one of your five speed bursts Relative difficulty - Medium Wrangling those pigs won't be an easy task until you've got your bat legs on straight. I laughed out loud trying to type that sentence... I'll bet I'm the first person to ever formulate that particular phrase... Anyway, you'll need to get the hang of bat-flight before you'll have much of a change at the speed required. Effective use of your speed boost is also of paramount importance. --- -| Bunnies Don't Like Bats Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - Complete with 00'35"00 remaining Same drill, gotta wrangle pigs with bat legs. But now there's angry bunnies jealous of your bat legs who want to steal your pigs so they can have bat legs... I think this is starting to affect my ability to think. -Controls- Remote - Twist and tilt this to steer the bat B Button - Accelerator A Button - Grab and drop pigs Nunchuck - Flick this to use one of your five speed bursts Relative Difficulty - High Same basic idea, same island, same almost everything except now you need to recapture the pigs that those bunnies coming from the submarine. You'll be alerted when they attempt to take one, if they succeed, it's a failure. --- -| Bunnies Never Close Doors |- 1000pts requirement - keep the doors closed for at least 01'20"00 What's that smell? Oh... Oh god... Just because we have to smell it doesn't mean we have to see it! Keep those doors closed for the love of all that is good! -Controls- Remote - Aim by Pointing Nunchuck - Flick this to close a highlighted door Relative Difficulty - Medium This can be quite the pain to work through since doors will start opening simultaneously or even before they finish closing as time goes on. Keep practicing and you're bound to get it. --- -| Bunnies Never Close Doors Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - Keep the doors closed for at least 01'20"00 Not again, now there's people coming by and THEY have to deal with the wretched stench as well! Protect them, but don't hit them! -Controls- Remote - Aim by Pointing Nunchuck - Flick this to close a highlighted door Relative Difficulty - Medium-high You're dealing with the same situation as previously but they've thrown pedestrians into the mix. Hitting a passing bunny equates letting a door open complete in that it results in instant failure. Keep at it but be a bit more careful this time around. --- -| Bunnies Can't Jump |- 1000pts requirement - Score at least 20,000 points Jumping rope with a chain is something I've always wanted to do. Well, not really but it does sound kinda cool in an American Gladiators kinda way. But they'd use red and blue chain made from plastic wrapped in foam. Wusses. -Controls- Nunchuck - Flick up to jump Relative Difficulty - Medium-High This game's a mixed bag with it's random speed changes. Sometimes you'll get a great series where they don't over do it and others the speed can change so dramatically from jump to jump that you'll fail horribly. Especially as the game speeds up you'll begin to reach a point where Rayman simply can't jump that fast. You're looking at roughly 200 jumps at the average 100 points per hop to reach this score. It's going to take awhile, that's all there is to it. --- -| Bunnies Can't Jump Part 2 |- 1000pts requirement - Score at least 5,000 points More jumping rope, but now you have to deal with our own rope. -Controls- Remote - Whirl as if spinning a jump rope to move the rope Nunchuck - Flick up to Jump Relative Difficulty - High Let's be honest here, you're trying to rub your stomach and pat your head at the same time with this game, except instead of it being a simple physical task it's a highly coordinated endeavour split between watching the rope and keeping it from going too fast or too slow as well as jumping over it. This will most definitely take many attempts to get down. Alternatively, you could have a friend control the rope or the jump, that may ease it considerably. |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| # 3.3 Challenges # |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ~Under Construction~ |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| # 3.4 Shake Your Booty! # |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ~Under Construction~ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| -# 4.
