USING THE GUIDE Within this Game Guide, each new section for the Walkthrough will be spaced out. For example, "Agrabah" will be written as "A g r a b a h". You will be able to skip all the stuff in between and head straight for this section if you do the following. INTERNET EXPLORER / MOZILLA FIREFOX USERS = Select 'Edit', located on the toolbar at the top of your screen. = Select 'Find, or simply hold Ctrl, then hit the F Key. = Input the name corresponding to the specific section you are having difficulties with, then select 'Find'. NETSCAPE USERS = Select 'Edit', located on the toolbar at the top of your screen. = Select 'Find in This Page', or simply hit Ctrl, then the F Key. = Input the name corresponding to the specific section you are having difficulties with, then select 'Find'. With the amount of e-mails I've been receiving regarding the same issue, an enormous amount of improvements were made to several sections of this guide. These changes were made to assist people with these problems in much better coverage. I've removed several references to treasure chests throughout the guide and placed them all within the Treasure Chest section, instead of the Walkthrough. If you are looking to read information in a particular section in this Game Guide, such as "Agrabah", type "A g r a b a h" in the search parameters and select 'Find Next'. If the name of the location consists of more than one word, add each of the spaces between the letters as usual, and then add three spaces between each word. This is much less confusing than it sounds. Remember, because of the game mechanics in Kingdom Hearts 2, there may be a few occasions where you will be visiting the same place more than once. For example, when returning to the Olympus Coliseum for the second time, you'll type "O l y m p u s C o l i s e u m", and then press 'Find' twice, rather than once. - - - III. WALKTHROUGH Start Kingdom Hearts II by selecting 'New Game'. You will then be prompted to select a mode of difficulty. Selecting one mode over another increases the difficulty of enemy encounters. There are three selections you will be able to choose from. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | Beginner Mode | | Difficulty: Easy | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Beginner Mode is recommended to players that are new to the Kingdom Hearts series, or to those who are not yet familiar with the mechanics to Kingdom Hearts II. You will then be led through a series of tutorials designed to assist you with the game mechanics in Kingdom Hearts II. Begin by speaking to the woman at the Accessory Shop. Continue the tutorial by reading through the on-screen instructions until you encounter Seifer in the Sandlot. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 100 / Boss Battle: Seifer / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O You'll be prompted to select one of three weapons at the beginning of this battle. There are two gauges you need to take note of in this battle. First is the health gauge, which displays your current health. This battle is over when you run out of health. The blue gauge displays your current Magic Power (MP). Magic abilities can display one of two different colors. When it's displayed in white, it will consume a patial amount of your magic power. When the ability is displayed in orange, it will consume all of your magic power. Another returning feature is the Lock-On command. This is used by pressing the R1 Button. This command will be used to locate your target and display remaining health information. After this battle has begun, start attacking Seifer. Seifer will use two main attacks on you. He will either strike you with an aerial attack, or several consecutive attacks. Seifer's aerial attack will cause quite a bit of damage, but can easily be avoided. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O After defeating Seifer, you'll arrive in the woods. Chase the Dusk into the Old Mansion. Approach the Dusk and select 'Capture'. Following the cutscene, you will be forced to battle the Dusk. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 32 / Boss Battle: Dusk / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O You'll be unable to attack the Dusk just yet, because you do not wield the power to destroy Heartless or Nobodies. Regardless, begin by attacking the Dusk and use the Reversal command to avoid any unnecessary damage. This battle introduces you to the Reaction command. It's a command that is activated by pressing the triangle button. Use this command every time you see a triangle-shaped prompt appear on the enemy, or above the command bar. Use the Reversal command as it displays on-screen, and start attacking the Dusk until you have defeated it. You will then head back to Hayner, Pence and Olette. Your third day in Twilight Town will then begin. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | The Third Day | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O You're back at the Usual Spot. Exit to the Back Alley, and then continue to the Station Heights to initiate a cutscene. After the cutscene, you will be in the Sandlot. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 34 / Boss Battle: Dusk / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O You'll be unable to attack the Dusk just yet, because you do not wield the power to destroy Heartless or Nobodies. Use the Reversal command as it displays on-screen, and start attacking the Dusk until the battle comes to an end. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | REACTION COMMANDS | | | | Reversal | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O STATION OF SERENITY Similar to the into in the original Kingdom Hearts, select either the Sword, the Shield, or the Staff. Your selection will effect how Sora will level in Kingdom Hearts II. The Sword Raises Strength. Increases Attack Power. The Staff Raises Intellect. Increases Mana and Magic Power. The Shield Raises Defense. Increases Attack Reduction. Following your selection, you will battle three Dusks, receiving a Keyblade to do so. The Keyblade is a weapon capable of destroying enemies that other weapons cannot. Remember to use the Reversal command, as the ability should definitely come in handy throughout Kingdom Hearts II. After the battle, open the nearby treasure chest to create a door. Continue into the Station of Calling. STATION OF CALLING Head up the path to the third platform, defeating the Dusks on the way. You should see a door leading you to the Twilight Thorn. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 300 / Boss Battle: Twilgiht Thorn / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Twilight Thorn has one of eight attacks, four of which you will be able to counter. Watch for the Reaction commands carefully, as Twilight Thorn will easily beat your to oblivion. When the Twilight Thorn begins to charge up, run after it's head and begin sending out your basic attacks, using Potions when necessary, as this will be a difficult battle. Once the screen transitions to white, Roxas will be held in place, unable to act. Watch for a series of Reaction commands, pressing the triangle button once it has prompted you to do so. Once Roxas has performed a series of counter- attacks, Twilight Thorn will create a circular form, then send out several Nobodies. Use the Reaction commands to reach Twilight Thorn's head. Repeat until the Twilight Thorn has been defeated. Should you run low on health, defeat the Nobodies to receive HP Balls. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | REACTION COMMANDS | | | | Key Counter, Lunarsault, Break Raid, Reversal | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | The Fouth Day | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Stock up on Potion at the Item Shop at Station Heights if needed, and then return to the Sandlot. Here's how the Struggle competition works. Both you and your opponent have 100 Orbs that act as hit points. The person who has the most orbs at the end of each match is victorious. O - = - = - = - = - = - = - = - = - = - = - = O S T R U G G L E C O M P E T I T I O N O - = - = - = - = - = - = - = - = - = - = - = O = Round 1: Hayner = Round 3: Setzer Hayner Setzer = Round 2: Vivi Vivi O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 210 / Struggle Match: Hayner / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Hayner's attacks are quite basic. He will do a three hit combo. If you hit him too many times, he begins blocking your attacks. When you see him move off into the distance, move to the side to avoid Hayner's charge. You'll be unable to use Reaction commands, so try to remain behind him. He shouldn't be too difficult. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 105 / Mini-Battle: Seifer / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Once Hayner has been defeated, you have the option to battle Seifer in the Back Alley, near the entrance to the Sandlot. Fight Seifer as often as you want. Simply exit and re-enter the Back Alley and challenge him once again. Seifer will use two main attacks on you. He will either strike you with an aerial attack, or several consecutive attacks. Seifer's aerial attack will cause quite a bit of damage, but can easily be avoided. It will also leave Seifer wide open, giving you a great opportunity to attack. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 105 / Struggle Match: Vivi / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Vivi is quite evasive to most of your physical attacks. He jumps back, and then charge at you with an attack. Vivi's second attack will charge at you with a spinning attack. Vivi's third attack will charge at you with a horizontal swing, which will then be followed by a massive ground impact. Pay close attention to Vivi's moves, and strike after he has made an attempt to attack you. You might be able to score at least two combos on Vivi during this time. Vivi's final attack will cause him to levitate into the air, then start to circle around you, waving his weapon wildly. Watch him closely so you will catch his pattern. This will help you avoid this attack. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O After defeating Vivi, you will begin a battle against three Dusks. Once the Dusks have been defeated, you will encounter Axel. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 105 / Boss Battle: Axel / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Axel is quick, and dual-equipped. After he kneels, move out of the way, as he will quickly charge towards you and strike you down with a strong fiery attack from behind. However, this leaves him wide open for an attack. Axel's second attack is prompted when he shouts, "Don't make me mad!". The attack sets Axel ablaze, rushing towards you, and then dealing a string of attacks. One strategy that works against Axel is to jump into the air once he begins his string of attacks. At that point, turn around and attack him from behind. A second strategy is to push Axel into a corner and unleash several combos on him, though it's risky because Axel can just as easily send you in that same corner. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O After defeating Axel, the Struggle competition will continue with your last opponent. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 105 / Struggle Match: Setzer / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O This battle can play out one of two ways. If you win, you will receive the Champion's Belt. If you lose, you will receive a Medal. Setzer is a decent challenge, and quite quick, but will often rest to catch his breath. Setzer does his best to provoke you, which gives you a good opportunity to attack. Finish with a combo before moving off to the side, because he will quickly regain his focus. You'll want to attack Setzer either from the side, or from behind, because Setzer will counter-attack whenever he manages to block your attacks. Though Setzer may be slow, he has two attacks that are quite powerful. His aerial attack, and his consecutive jab attack, both being rather difficult to avoid. Keep moving, and strike once he leaves himself open. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | The Fifth Day | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Exit the Usual Spot to the Back Alley, and then continue to Station Heights. Head up the hill to the Station Plaza and enter Central Station to initiate a cutscene. You will eventually arrive at Sunset Station. Continue down the stairs to Sunset Terrace. To make navigation much easier, each objective will be exaplined thoroughly, starting from the Sunset Station / Sunset Terrace entry point. After you've completed an objective, return to the Sunset Station / Sunset Terrace entry point to begin the next objective. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | Wonder #1 | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Approach the stairs near the ticket center at Sunset Station to initiate a cutscene. Watch the cutscene to discover the first wonder. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | Wonder #2 | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Head up the stairs on your right, and then proceed along the tram tracks. Once you reach the end, proceed up the stairs to your right, then around the corner to your left. Proceed to the top of Sunset Hill, then examine the bag. Use the Reaction command to jump on the bag, and then again each time it prompts you to do perform a Reaction Command. Once the stamina gauge has emptied, the mini-game will be completed. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | Wonder #3 | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Head up the stairs on your right, and then proceed along the tram tracks. Once you reach the end, proceed up the stairs to your right, then around the corner on your right. Investigate the dark tunnel on your left. Vivi awaits inside. You'll be battling three Vivis instead of one. Each Vivi can be defeated in one strike, but defeating one will spawn another. Defeat Vivi just as you did in the Struggle competition, and don't let him outnumber you. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | Wonder #4 | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Head up the stairs to your right, and then continue to the alley on your right. Approach Hayner, and then turn towards another alley to the right. Approach and investigate the brown brick wall. Several balls will begin emerging from the brick wall. You need to evade and jump past the balls to reach the brick wall. Each ball that hits you will knock you back a short distance. Once you reach the wall, press the triangle button to complete the objective. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | Wonder #5 | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Head up the stairs on your right, and then proceed along the tram tracks. Once you reach the end, proceed down the stairs to your left and examine the waterfall. If you're familiar with the basic attacks and combos that Roxas uses, it should be a rather easy battle. Trap Shadow Roxas in a corner and strike him with your strongest attacks. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | Wonder #6 | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Head up the stairs on your right, and then proceed along the tram tracks. When you reach the end, proceed up the stairs to your right, then around the corner to your left. Proceed into Sunset Hill to initiate a cutscene. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | Wonder #7 | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Proceed to the Tram Common, and then through the crack in the wall. Head through the woods to the Old Mansion. Watch the cutscene to discover the seventh wonder. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | The Sixth Day | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Twilight Town has become overrun by Nobodies. Exit the Usual Spot, and then defeat the Nobodies. Following the cutscene, proceed to the Tram COmmon and enter through the crack in the wall. Proceed through the woods to reach the Old Mansion. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O | The Old Mansion | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Proceed to the second floor, and then enter the White Room on the west side of the Mansion Foyer. Following the cutscene, exit the White Room, and then continue to the Library on the opposite side of the Mansion Foyer. Start down the stairs, and then enter the Computer Room. After the cutscene, proceed through the door which just opened. Defeat the Nobodies to initiate a cutscene. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 345 / Boss Battle: Axel / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Axel is quick, and dual-equipped. After he kneels, move out of the way, as he will quickly charge towards you and strike you down with a strong fiery attack from behind. However, this leaves him wide open for an attack. The surrounding area is set ablaze with a massive wall of fire. You cannot be near it, because it does burn you. Axel will constantly escape into the fire, and rush towards you with a wall of fire trailing behind him. Using the Lock-On command and Reaction commands are essential to defeating Axel. Watch for the "Burst Edge" Reaction command to appear, as this gives you a good opportunity to score an aerial combo and some decent damage. If you see Axel set himself ablaze, move out of the way and don't let him hit you, as this is one of Axel's most powerful attacks. Throughout this battle, Axel will constantly change the floor into searing magma, which will deal a set amount of damage of a period of time. You may want to defeat Axel quickly, because he does cast this ability quite a bit. Once you are outside the entrance of the Old Mansion, head back to Twilight Town to initiate a cutscene. After speaking to Hayner, Pence and Olette, head to the Sandlot to initiate a cutscene with Seifer. This will eventually allow you to participate in an upcoming Struggle match. Head to the Station Plaza and defeat the Nobodies. Speak to Donald inside Central Station once you are ready to leave. This is your last chance to do anything in Twilight Town you might have missed. You will not have access to Twilight Town for quite some time. After exiting Central Station, you'll arrive at The Tower. Continue towards the entrance to encounter Pete. After defeating the Heartless, you'll enter inside the tower. This area is quite basic. Proceed up the stairs, defeating the Heartless in the Star Chamber and Moon Chamber. Once inside the Sorcerer's Loft you will encounter Yen Sid. After speaking to Cid, open the chest to receive a Tower Map. Read through each chapter of the book on the table, then speak with Yen Sid once again. Continue to the Wardrobe and speak to Red Fairy to receive your new outfit. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | Obtained Village Area Map | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O Head into the Village Cave, and then enter the large room to start a battle against several Heartless. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O / Mini-Battle: Shan-Yu's Army / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O Focus on the Bolt Towers before attacking the Rapid Thrusters. If too many Rapid Thruster begin to outnumber you, use the Speed Trap Reaction command. Don't bother with the Lock-On command, because you do not want to focus on just one enemy. There's also too many Heartless nearby to use it. This battle will not last long, so just try to keep your health sufficient, attacking your opponents until the battle comes to an end. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O | | | REACTION COMMANDS | | | | Speed Trap, Bolt Reversal | | | O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O Head back to the Ridge to initiate a cutscene. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: 102 Hayabusa / Boss Battle: Shan-Yu / HP: 442 Shan-Yu O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O You'll have two objectives in this battle. Your top priority is to protect the Palace Gates, so whenever you see Heartless, swarming near the palace entrance, stop attacking Shan-Yu and start attacking the Heartless. You'll be able to restore the stability of the gate by collecting orbs dropped by the Heartless. Hayabusa will make several attempts to move you away from the palace. You can't really avoid this, so just run back towards the palace. Don't worry about attacking Hayabusa, as Shan-Yu will just as easily send it back out within moments. Once the Heartless have been defeated, turn your focus to Shan-Yu. He will strike you several times consecutively, so it's rather difficult to attack him. Your best bet would be to clash weapons, and then perform a Breakdown Reaction command. You'll need to press the triangle button repeatedly once you clash weapons. When Shan-Yu has almost been defeated, he will enter his second phase that prompts several more powerful attacks. Though he doesn't seem to spawn any Heartless, wait for an opening, rather than just rushing in to attack. The battle will be over when either Shan-Yu is defeated or the palace gate has been destroyed. Leave Belle's Room to return to the East Wing, and then to the Entrance Hall. Now proceed down the stairs, and then up into the West Hall. Approach the Wardrobe, and then press the Reaction command repeatedly until the bubbles above her have disappeared. You must then refrain from pressing the Reaction command until the Wardrobe has once again fallen asleep. Enter into the Undercroft. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 137 Thresholder / Boss Battle: Thresholder / Posessor / HP: 98 Possessor O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Focus on the Gargoyles before attacking Thresholder and Possesor. It's not an easy battle, as Thresholder and Possesor have some strong attacks. They will summon Hook Bats and Gargoyles which can be disregarded, as they will not pose a threat. If Thresholder and Possessor throw you towards the back of the room, press the O Button immediately to get back on your feet. When you've wasted it's health to nothing, press the Reaction command to transform Thresholder and Possessor into dark matter. You won't defeat Thresholder and Possessor just yet, but attack it anyways until it returns to the door. At that point, return to square one. Reaction command. His main attack deals damage to every member in your party, but he won't deal too much damage. You need to defeat Beast quickly, because each time you deplete his health, he will regain it shortly if you fail to make him come to his senses. Once Beast is low on health, hit the Reaction command rapidly to charge up, and then the battle should be over. After the cutscene, proceed into the Ballroom. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O HP: 176 (SS) / Boss Battle: Shadow Stalker / Dark Thorn / HP: 390 (DT) O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O The Shadow Stalker has one of several attacks, difficult to explain. It is by no means an easy battle. First, it has an electric attack similar to Hades' Fire Spin attack, known in the original Kingdom Hearts. The only way that you can avoid this is by running around in the direction it's spinning. It may also attempt to suck you into to darkness, and then spit you back out. Fortunately, it will not deal too much damage. It will hide quite often, so you will constantly need to press the Lock-On command. At some point in the battle, the Shadow Stalker disappears into a pillar against the wall, prompting you to attack the one filling with dark energy. Approach this pillar and start attacking it. Once the Reaction command appears, release the Shadow Stalker, then attack it once again. When the Shadow Stalker moves to the chandelier, strike the chanelier until the Reaction command appears. Push the Reaction command to release the Shadow Stalker. Similar to the Stealth Sneak, the Dark Thorn remains invisible quite a bit. If it manages to throw you while stealthed, use a nearby column to counter with a Reaction command. Use the Drive command once the Shadow Stalker has transformed into the Dark Thorn. After the cutscene, you are thrown out of 100 Acre Wood, then forced into a battle against several Heartless. Once you have defeated the Heartless, you will automatically re-enter 100 Acre Wood. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: ??? / Boss Battle: Hades / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O Right now, Hades cannot be defeated. Save your Drives, Limits, Summons and mana. Hades will be invincible for the duration of this battle, so attacks against him will be meaningless. Nonetheless, attack him anyways until the battle comes to an end. You cannot physically harm Hades while in the Underworld. Why? Because the Underworld has some kind of curse on Sora that saps his strength. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O / Mini-Game: Exit the Underworld / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= O Don't bother going after Hades, cut the ones that matter and run. Start by attacking the Heartless as you progress to the exit. Remember to use Auron and his Limit commands, as he will definitely help. Each time the path has opened, continue moving to the exit. You need to defeat three waves of Heartless before you can exit the Valley of the Dead. Once inside the Inner Chamber, you will no longer need to run from Hades. O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O HP: 440 / Boss Battle: Cerberus / O =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O You'll be battling Cerbeus with Auron. Donald and Goofy do not help you in this battle. Cerberus has developed quite a few more skills since when you fought it in the original Kingdom Hearts. Cerberus is extremely quick, and quite difficult. After it switches to the aggressive stance, start attacking with everything you've got. If Cerberus throws you back quite a distance, immediately press the O Button to regain your balance. Each time Cerberus jumps in the air, you need to jump as well to avoid the powerful impact Cerberus makes when he lands. Cerberus has a crippling attack, prompted after it has grabbed Sora by the teeth. You can avoid a series of powerful attacks, performing the Reaction command that display on-screen. This will momentarily stun Cerberus.
